Last month, I finally got around to reading The Barefoot Investor.
Needless to say, I've spent all of this month relentlessly recruiting people to get onboard and start the Barefoot Steps.
I found Scott Pape's fiercely independent book a fun read. It blurs the line between offering practical, common-sense steps understanding how to use your money and a self-help book to help build the future you have always wanted.
I adore and appreciate Scott giving advice of his own banking, superannuation and investments and I love that he has also set up a community of like-minded people for ongoing advice and support.
For me, Scott's Barefoot Steps won't be a the only money guide I will ever need, but it really has kick-started my want to be in control of my finances and future. I'm now reading Your Money or Your Life: 9 Steps to Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence by Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez.
Highly recommend you give The Barefoot Investor a go. I'm confident it won't be long before you'll be setting up your ING buckets and telling the world that you love your ING Orange Everyday Account:
