10 All Access: Initial Thoughts

I subscribed to 10 All Access today.

I’ve been looking forward to this for a while. CBS All Access taunts me every time I visit the official Survivor, The Amazing Race or Big Brother (US) websites with promises of Ponderosa and BB Live Feeds.

Ignorantly, I assumed 10 All Access would feed the same content.

I was wrong.

10 All Access has a very very small catalogue of content (I assume most of it is already caught up in agreements with Stan). The service, which costs $10 a month boasts 7,000 hours of unique commercial free content, but the offering seems so limited.

I’m very grateful to see the first 36 seasons of Survivor on the platform. I think this is the first time that past seasons of the world’s greatest reality show are available in Australia.

However, where is The Amazing Race, Twin Peaks, Dexter, Big Brother and Big Brother’s All Access spin-off Over the Top? The service is also missing staple Channel 10 classic content. Where is Offspring, The Secret Life of Us or E-Street?

I am looking forward to devouring Tell Me a Story, One Dollar and flicking back on episodes of The Good Fight that I’ve already seen.

Overall, it’s very early days. I can’t wait to see what content will go over the next few weeks (Please overwhelm me with content over the summer period). Alternatively you can binge on a whole heap of amazing FREE content over at 9Now.

And why isn’t Charmed in 16:9 HD?

You can subscribe to 10 All Access here for $10 a month.
