Ingredients:
500g of vegan mince
2 brown onions
1 tablespoon mixed herbs
1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper
4 slices vegan cheese or grated vegan cheese
4 vegan hamburger buns or or rolls, halved and lightly toasted
Sliced dill pickles
1 can sliced beetroot
1 gem lettuce
Favourite vegan sauce
Method:
1. Slice onions and cook on medium heat for 15-20 minutes with a small bit of EVOO and salt (the salt will help with the cooking process.
2. Mix mince, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and mixed herbs in a medium bowl. Season well.
3. Shape mince into 2 even patties (approximately the same size as your rolls). Grilled in a pan.
4. Toast your buns and melt cheese onto the roll. Dress rolls with favourite ingredients (I've stuck with traditional lettuce, tomato and beetroot.
5. Serve with fries, favourite sauce and left over grilled onions.
